USB-C AXS-Compatible Battery: Pre-Ride Checks

Quick answer

Before a ride, check charge, physical fit and component operation. The ALLTOO 500mAh USB-C rechargeable replacement battery has direct USB-C charging and a four-LED power indicator. It is offered for selected SRAM AXS-style battery interfaces; confirm your exact component and original battery before ordering. A capacity label does not establish runtime or universal compatibility.

1. Check the interface before packing a spare

Compare the battery shape, contacts and retaining interface with your current battery and the product photos. A removable drivetrain battery is different from a shifter's coin-cell battery. Do not assume that every component carrying the AXS name takes the same power source. Start with the AXS battery compatibility checklist, then confirm your exact component.

2. Check the charge before installation

Read the four-LED indicator while the battery is easy to reach. If the charge is low, use a suitable USB-C charging source and cable. Inspect the charging port and contacts; do not use a visibly damaged battery or force a connector that does not fit.

3. Confirm that the component works

After installation, check that the battery is fully seated and retained. Test shifting or the relevant component's operation before leaving. A lit indicator alone does not prove that the battery is correctly installed or that another component has sufficient power.

4. Pack a charging method that matches your battery

A battery with a built-in USB-C port and a battery intended for a charging dock have different charging arrangements. The AXS/eTap-compatible charging dock is a separate accessory: compare battery shape and connector rather than assuming that all chargers are interchangeable. Keep spare batteries separated from loose metal objects in your kit.

When a battery still will not charge

Check the cable, suitable power source, connector and visible damage first. The battery-not-charging checklist explains these checks. Stop using damaged equipment and contact support with your component model and photos.
