Quick answer
A practical AXS backup kit depends on your existing battery and charging method. A compatible charged spare, the correct charging accessory and a suitable protective cover serve different roles. Confirm each interface before buying; a cover is not a battery, and a charger is not a spare power source.
Build the kit by function
| Role | VELYN option | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Spare battery with direct USB-C charging | ALLTOO USB-C AXS-compatible replacement battery | Battery interface, component fit and pack quantity |
| Separate charging accessory | ALLTOO AXS/eTap-compatible battery charger | Exact battery and charging connection |
| Spare protective cover | AXS/eTap-compatible protector covers | Battery cover vs rear-derailleur cover, installed shape and clearance |
Choose the charging arrangement you need
The ALLTOO replacement battery listing describes direct USB-C charging. The separate compatible charger is a different accessory. Select charging equipment for the actual battery you intend to use, rather than assuming all accessories belong to one interchangeable setup.
Check the cover option
The cover listing has rear-derailleur covers, battery covers and a mixed pair. Select the correct option and compare its shape with your component. Batteries, derailleurs and electronics are not included with the covers.
Before a trip or event
- Confirm the spare battery's fit before relying on it.
- Check charge according to the battery instructions.
- Pack the charging connection that suits the battery.
- Follow the carrier's applicable battery transport requirements.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need all three accessories?
No. Choose the missing function in your current setup; do not buy a charger or cover simply because you need a spare battery.
Do the covers include batteries?
No. The cover product is a protector-cover set.
Are these original SRAM products?
No. They are aftermarket compatible accessories, without SRAM authorization or endorsement claims.
