The battery is bigger than the original one and doesn't look as sleek because of it. Also when unplugging the cable it lifted a part out of the body and it seems like it isn't sealed or properly glued. Not sure about longevity or weather resistance, as this part isn't directly exposed.

Very convenient charging with USB C though and a very fair price considering the price of a genuine SRAM charger and of a battery.

We’re sorry about this, and thank you for your feedback. The battery is slightly larger than the original to accommodate the built-in USB-C charging port and increased battery capacity.

An issue during our initial ultrasonic welding setup affected a very small number of early units, leaving the casing around the USB-C port less securely sealed. A small amount of suitable adhesive applied only to the outer plastic casing around the port can help secure it.

We’ve since improved the manufacturing process and introduced an upgraded V2 version. If you’d like, we’d be happy to send you a V2 replacement free of charge. Thank you for being one of our early customers and sharing your experience with us!
